The Basics
You must register with a valid e-mail address before you can post. Please set your spam filter to accept mail from forum@coraandjohn.com. You will receive a confirmation e-mail.
We would like this to be a friendly community.
Treat fellow posters as neighbors. Do not antagonize your neighbors. Please be respectful of each other and each other's threads. If what someone has posted angers you, take a break, calm down and remember it's just the internet before you respond. Thinking before posting is a lesson we all learn and re-learn. Tone is difficult to convey in a message forum and English is not everyone's first language. Please make it clear when you are joking (that's what the smilies are for) or being sarcastic. Please don't type in all caps. People will think you are yelling. Please don't post the same thing in multiple threads or forums. Signing up for multiple usernames is not allowed. Don't do anything here you wouldn't do in your own living room. Remember, anyone can read what you post. Please remember that copyright laws apply.
We do not mean to sound harsh, but rude, harassing, flaming posts or posters are not welcome here. People who do respond unkindly will be removed from the board. The policy will be as follows: Anyone who insists in this type of behavior will receive one warning. If it continues, they will be banned from the boards permanently.
The forum is here so we can have fun. We do not want to spend our time enforcing rules and reminding people to be respectful. We're fortunate to have such an interesting, amusing, considerate group of people gathered here who always welcome new faces. Thanks to everyone who participates!
*Note: The following was added 12/07/06
I'm sure some members may be concerned that there will be “outbreaks” such as we have seen on other sites. I can’t say I blame them for being concerned.
I realize there will be differences of opinion on the various topics we have, please be informed that I won’t allow personal attacks, flaming, or finger pointing of any nature on any thread. I will delete the offensive posts, lock threads and if necessary, issue member warnings and/or remove members. All members will be treated equally and rules applied as such.
We are all friends and I know that you will understand and comply with the Board policy. |

As we are all friends here, we feel there is no reason for members to hide their presence on the board. For this reason, having your status set to "hidden" will not be allowed. Please do not set your preference to show your status as hidden. Members who do so will have their status reset once by the administrators. Should they choose to hide themselves again their access will be terminated.
In addition, members who have been terminated for any reason are not allowed to access the forum by logging as anyone else. Should this occur, the account the terminated member logs in under will be terminated as well.
Please note: This does not include members who are all active in good standing that may be on the same machine for whatever reason. This ruling ONLY applies to those members whose accounts have been terminated. _________________ I WILL ALWAYS BELIEVE IN BARBARO
