..and I can work in the smiley mod without waiting anywhere from 15 minutes to days (literally) before I can get in. The other night, the Yahoo server had a "senior moment" and chose to scramble ALL the board emoticons. Some were gone, many were in the wrong category....and it would NOT let me in to fix it. I was beside myself.
This move should also solve all the debug error messages from Yahoo refusing to send board notifications and it should solve all the odd server error messages. Instead of residing on several servers in different parts of the country, the board now resides on one server. They advertise 99.9% up time and if there is ever a time a site is down for 45 minutes they give credit back for that month on the billing. The host we chose is one of the top two in all the reviews we read.
Once we've been here a while and are sure everything is going to be reliable, we'll most likely move our remaining site to the new host as well and have all three in the same place.
Then it will be bye-bye Yahoo for everything!!
